Charles Leclerc will finish his current contract with Ferrari next year, but everything indicates that he will continue in Maranello. The driver arrived in 2019 and could complete a decade at Scuderia.

According to the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, a millionaire proposal will be on the table – double the salary, going from 25 million euros to 50 million euros per year.

That organization talks about a five-year contract, until the end of 2029 – which, if confirmed, will be the longest at present, after the one that links Max Verstappen to Red Bull until 2028.

This period covers the new 2026 power unit regulations and the end of several current contracts, including in larger teams such as Mercedes and Red Bull.

If Leclerc stays in the long term, it will then be up to Ferrari to meet the expectations and confidence of the Monegasque – finally offering him the necessary equipment and conditions to fight for the title.
