Local hero Charles Leclerc expressed the importance of maintaining focus for qualifying, considering the unique nature of the Monaco Grand Prix. After the two initial practice sessions, Ferrari has shown to be a strong contender for this weekend’s race. They showcased their speed during FP2, leading the times. The challenging Monaco street circuit gave Leclerc a positive outlook for the upcoming race. The Monaco street circuit is known to be one of the most demanding tracks in Formula 1. Leclerc emphasized the need to stay focused and perform at his best due to the difficulty of the track. Continuing the positive momentum during FP3 and qualifying is crucial. Leclerc mentioned taking slightly higher risks than others during practice, which may have contributed to the team’s improved results. In conclusion, Leclerc described Friday as a successful day. Moving forward, the Ferrari team is determined to achieve similar, if not better, results in qualifying. On the other hand, Red Bull is concerned about Leclerc’s pace. The impressive performance of Ferrari has instilled confidence in Charles Leclerc for qualifying. He set a faster lap time than the previous year during FP2. The team is heading in a positive direction this weekend. Despite facing engine performance issues during the race in Imola, Ferrari is confident they won’t encounter similar problems in Monaco due to the track’s characteristics. Leclerc highlighted his ability to improve his lap times after analyzing his three sectors. Leclerc expressed satisfaction with the car’s performance and is optimistic about extracting even more speed from the SF-24 during Saturday’s qualifying session. The car has untapped potential that they intend to unlock for the Monaco Grand Prix.
