Charles Leclerc pede desculpas por ‘forçar demais’ no treino classificatório do Grande Prêmio da Áustria.

Charles Leclerc was unable to secure a coveted front-row starting position for the Austrian Grand Prix, despite Red Bull’s slow pace. Ferrari had a good start to the 2024 season but made several mistakes and lost valuable points. Additionally, their performance during the Austrian weekend leading up to the main race was less impressive. As a result, Leclerc expressed his disappointment over the team radio, showing his frustration with his qualifying position in P6. He admitted to pushing too hard and acknowledged that the result should have been at least P3 or better.

Ferrari made several updates to their car after the Monaco Grand Prix, but these improvements did not bring the desired results for the team. Leclerc only managed to reach P6, while his teammate finished in P4. Both drivers will need to work hard to improve their positions in the Austrian Grand Prix. Despite showing great potential early in the season, Ferrari’s performance declined in the middle of the 2024 season.

Despite the team’s efforts to implement improvements, Ferrari was unable to secure pole position in the Austrian Grand Prix. Leclerc expressed his disappointment, stating that it was a shame they couldn’t achieve better results. He believed that the team had more potential than he was able to tap into, resulting in his failure to secure the coveted pole position at Red Bull’s home race.

Ferrari must continue making updates throughout the season to compete with McLaren and Red Bull in the development race. The team is falling behind and needs to rediscover their form from the beginning of the season to improve their performance throughout the rest of the championship.
