Lancia is preparing to write a new chapter with the introduction of the Ypsilon Rally4 HF and the new Ypsilon HF, two models officially presented last May.
Proving that the brand continues to maintain its sporting DNA, the Ypsilon Rally4 HF has been designed for competition, featuring a 1.2 turbo three-cylinder engine with 212 hp and a 5-speed manual gearbox with a limited-slip mechanical differential.
The front-wheel-drive configuration ensures agility and excellent performance, making it ideal for young drivers looking to enter the world of racing.
On the other hand, the Ypsilon HF is the high-performance road version of the brand’s first car in its new era, powered by a 100% electric motor with 280 hp, boasting an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.
It is already known that the year 2025 will mark the return of Lancia to motorsports, and for this reason, Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, has already tested the new Ypsilon Rally4 HF at the Balocco complex in Italy, which features over 80 kilometers of tracks and serves as a center of excellence for high-performance testing.
“Seeing Carlos Tavares driving the Ypsilon Rally4 HF was extraordinary,” said Luca Napolitano, CEO of Lancia. “The 212 hp turbo engine and the precise engineering of the car are the result of our team’s passion. The Ypsilon Rally4 HF combines ambition with humility, reflecting our commitment to the Rally4 class, the heart of competition.”
Remember that Lancia has already announced that the two sportier models of the Ypsilon will be available starting in 2025.
