Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, is present at the 2024 edition of the Caramulo Motorfestival, which started this Friday and will run until next Sunday.
Tavares is participating in the event behind the wheel of a brand new Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce, on the asphalt of the Caramulo Ramp, marking the first opportunity for the Portuguese public to see the new Italian sports car live.
Behind the wheel of a Junior Veloce specially decorated for the occasion, featuring a design and colors that not only pay homage to Alfa Romeo’s sporting heritage but also to the flag of Portugal, Carlos Tavares experienced the capabilities of the top-of-the-line version of the brand’s new compact sports car in the Serra do Caramulo.
The Junior Veloce, equipped with an electric motor producing 280 hp and 345 Nm, stands out with the striking contrast of a green-decorated front against the Brera Red body, as well as the large Biscione emblem placed on the hood.
It is worth noting that with the new Junior Veloce, Alfa Romeo is not only making a strong return to the segment of B-segment sports compacts but is also redefining the driving experience at the same time.
To achieve this, the new Junior Veloce not only utilizes a powerful next-generation electric motor but is also designed to take advantage of it through specific calibrations of the steering, braking system, and chassis.
The combination of a Torsen differential and high-performance tires mounted on 20-inch wheels enhances the dynamic capabilities of the model developed by the same team responsible for models such as the 4C, 8C, Giulia & Stelvio Quadrifoglio, Giulia GTA, and the 33 Stradale.
