Formula 1 fans are in for a wild ride as James Vowles defends Carlos Sainz amidst a slow start at Williams, declaring, “We’re getting more than I paid for.” Despite Sainz only securing one point this season, Vowles stands by his driver, emphasizing the progress being made behind the scenes.

With Sainz struggling to match his teammate’s performance, Vowles remains optimistic about the Spaniard’s adaptation to the Williams car. “He’s making steps forward… I’m very comfortable that he will be on the pace shortly,” Vowles expressed, highlighting Sainz’s dedication to working with the aerodynamics and engineering teams to fine-tune his performance.

As the competition heats up in Formula 1, Vowles acknowledged the tight margins between teams but remains focused on Sainz’s development. “Between him and Alex, I don’t think there’ll be a millisecond to spare when both are on song,” Vowles stated, emphasizing the meticulous approach taken to close the gap to the front of the grid.

Stay tuned as Carlos Sainz continues to push boundaries and defy expectations at Williams, proving his worth on the track with each race weekend.
