Carlos Sainz sugere que a FIA está mostrando favoritismo ao lidar com o incidente envolvendo Lewis Hamilton no Grande Prêmio da Espanha.

Carlos Sainz believes that Lewis Hamilton should have been penalized for the incident that occurred during the Spanish GP. The incident, which happened on lap 19 of the 2024 race, involved a fierce battle between Sainz and Hamilton for sixth position. Hamilton attempted to overtake Sainz, resulting in contact between their cars.

Sainz expressed his opinion that Hamilton pushed him off the track when he was already slightly ahead. According to Sainz, the FIA rules state that if a driver is ahead on the outside line, the other driver must give him space. However, Hamilton did not give Sainz enough space. Surprisingly, the stewards did not investigate this incident.

In addition, Sainz pointed out that there are specific rules established by the stewards to guide their decisions during races. In this particular incident, Sainz believed that Hamilton’s actions were similar to situations he had faced in Miami, where the rules were applied differently. Sainz suggested that this inconsistency in rule enforcement could be frustrating for the drivers and hinted at possible bias from the FIA.

When asked about his overtake on Carlos Sainz after the race, Lewis Hamilton described it as an incredible maneuver. He believed that the maneuver was clean and fair, as Sainz did not fully block the inside line, leaving a gap for Hamilton to take advantage and overtake him. Hamilton was satisfied with the execution of the overtake.

Hamilton also mentioned that he made a late maneuver to position himself next to Sainz during the race. Both drivers were very close to each other, almost side by side. Despite the proximity, Sainz managed to stay on the track while Hamilton tried to leave enough space to avoid a collision that could affect their race. Hamilton considered the race exciting and well executed.

Carlos Sainz strongly believed that the FIA should have investigated the incident with Hamilton, as he felt that Hamilton was pushing him off the track. However, Hamilton argued that there was enough room for him to make the overtake, as Sainz did not fully cover the inside line.
