Carlos Sainz, the F1 driver making waves in 2025, has shocked fans by proclaiming he no longer cares about points in the championship race. Despite a strong start with Williams, Sainz is focusing on other priorities besides accumulating points.

The Spanish driver has been outperformed by teammate Alex Albon, who has racked up 42 points compared to Sainz’s 12. Sainz attributes this gap to his ongoing adjustment to the Williams team after leaving Ferrari. He remains optimistic about the team’s trajectory and is concentrating on improving his speed and performance rather than fixating on points.

As Williams prepares for the Spanish Grand Prix, Sainz warns that the Barcelona track may not favor their car’s characteristics. However, he remains hopeful that the team’s progress will shine through. Despite recent top 10 finishes, Sainz acknowledges the challenges ahead, particularly with the upcoming regulation changes.

Looking back at the Monaco Grand Prix, Sainz reflects on missed opportunities and emphasizes the team’s hunger for continued improvement. Barcelona presents a new set of obstacles, but Sainz is confident in Williams’ capabilities to deliver a strong performance.

Stay tuned as Carlos Sainz navigates the highs and lows of the F1 season, prioritizing growth and speed over championship points.
