Carlos Sainz predicts that F1 will welcome two new drivers to the grid amid a competitive driver market.

Carlos Sainz prevê que a F1 receberá dois novos pilotos no grid em meio a um mercado de pilotos competitivo.

The competition in Formula 1 for race seats is incredibly intense. Most of the drivers’ contracts will expire by the 2025 season, leaving uncertainty about their future with the same team. Additionally, several drivers have already announced their departure from their respective teams. As a result, the next season may see the introduction of new drivers, as highlighted by a source.

Currently, the Formula 1 grid is fully occupied by 20 drivers representing their teams. However, the next season may present an interesting scenario with the inclusion of young drivers. Among them, there is a strong possibility that drivers like [names of drivers] may join the grid.

It has been stated that new faces will definitely be added in the next season. However, the 29-year-old driver also acknowledged the slim chances of securing a spot due to the abundance of talented young drivers. Therefore, drivers need to show promising potential and deliver strong performances to be considered for the role of reserve driver.

Currently, there are twenty drivers competing in Formula 1. Next year, two new drivers will join, leaving eighteen unchanged spots. This highlights the limited opportunities for young drivers to enter the prestigious racing series.

Carlos Sainz Jr. greatly benefits from the support of his father, who is a renowned figure in motorsport. Young drivers often face immense pressure to perform well, given the legacy of their father. However, Sainz believes that being his father’s son is a significant advantage. Additionally, the 29-year-old driver emphasized the advantages of having a financially stable and famous father, as it opens doors for sponsorships.

Furthermore, Sainz acknowledged that he takes pride in being his father’s son and does not underestimate the influence of this association. However, he also revealed that he constantly faces criticism for being associated with a popular driver. Nonetheless, Sainz sees this label as a source of motivation rather than a hindrance to his performance.

Sainz had a good start to the 2024 season, securing a victory against Red Bull’s dominant performance. However, despite his achievements, the 29-year-old driver is still without a seat for the next season. Therefore, the remainder of the season will serve as an opportunity for Sainz to showcase his racing skills to the teams on the grid.
