Carlos Sainz explica os desafios da nova regulamentação do DRS para a próxima temporada de F1.

Carlos Sainz makes a significant prediction about the Drag Reduction System (DRS) in Formula 1. Many drivers have expressed concerns about the new DRS rule. In the past, drivers could increase their top speed by adjusting the opening of the rear wing after the second lap. However, the new rule now allows drivers to use the DRS after the first lap of the race. This change has had a significant impact on the strategies used by drivers, especially during races on street circuits.

Carlos Sainz, who had a good start in his last season with Ferrari at the Bahrain Grand Prix, is cautious about the potential threat from McLaren at the Saudi Arabian Formula 1 Grand Prix. McLaren had a strong performance in Bahrain, with their drivers finishing in sixth and eighth places. Their improved performance this year, especially on high-speed circuits, suggests they will be more competitive in Jeddah.

Sainz, who previously drove for McLaren, believes the team’s expertise on high-speed circuits will give them an advantage in Jeddah. He also acknowledges the improvements made by Ferrari and suggests they may be stronger this year.
