Carlos Sainz denies being undervalued after securing Ferrari’s first victory in 2024.

Carlos Sainz, the talented Ferrari driver, made headlines in the world of Formula 1 with his remarkable victory at Albert Park. After the dust settled, Sainz made it clear that he should not be underestimated. Despite his long-standing presence in the sport, he currently does not have a contract for next year due to the signing of the seven-time former world champion by Ferrari.

Following his victory at the Australian GP, there were claims that Sainz is underestimated. However, the 29-year-old driver disagrees with this perception. Despite his impressive track record of three Grand Prix wins, he is not perceived by many fans in the same way as younger drivers like [removed names].

While Sainz made it clear that he should not be underestimated, his teammate Charles Leclerc believes he could have performed better during the Australian weekend. Leclerc specifically highlights his performance during qualifying. Despite finishing in second place, he feels there was still room for improvement. Currently, Leclerc is only four points behind Verstappen in the Drivers’ Championship.

Considering Sainz’s exceptional performance at the challenging Albert Park circuit, he is not far behind. With 40 points, he is quickly catching up to Leclerc and Verstappen. The next Japanese GP in 2024 promises to be an exciting event for several reasons.
