Carlos Sainz is currently the most sought-after driver in the 2024 driver market. The skilled competitor believes that there are still many good opportunities available for him in the 2025 season. After being replaced by another driver at Ferrari starting next season, Sainz has become a highly sought-after prospect in the racing world. His success as the only non-Red Bull driver to win races has worked in his favor.

Since his victory in Australia, Sainz has attracted the attention of several team leaders. He has been linked to Mercedes, Red Bull, and Audi. Although previously associated with Aston Martin, this option is no longer viable as they recently extended another driver’s contract. Despite these developments, Sainz remains optimistic that he has good options available to him.

Audi reportedly gave Sainz an ultimatum, but he chose to take a patient approach until securing the best deal. Sainz is known for his versatility on track, having achieved podiums in every race of the current season. He is aware of the new F1 regulations that will be implemented in 2026 and believes that strategic planning will be key to success. As the most sought-after driver in the field, Sainz is carefully considering his options.

The 29-year-old driver is taking into account the new regulations when negotiating his new contract. However, he acknowledges that it is impossible to predict who will dominate the grid from 2026. The Red Bull F1 team has been the dominant force under the current regulations, with Ferrari trying to catch up with them during the ongoing season. According to Carlos Sainz, the 2026 season is uncertain and may bring a significant change in the F1 hierarchy.
