Carlos Sainz afirma que o SF24 da Ferrari permite que ele seja mais agressivo.

Carlos Sainz had a remarkable performance during the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix, showcasing his skills and securing a place on the podium. This achievement is particularly impressive considering the recent news that he will not be receiving a contract extension. Despite this setback, Sainz drove the SF-24 with a fearless attitude, determined to make the most of his final season with the team. The 29-year-old driver praised the comfort of the car, expressing his satisfaction with its ability to withstand his aggressive driving style without compromising stability. With a strong start to the season, Sainz is expected to provide tough competition to his rivals.

Last year, Sainz made history as the only non-Red Bull affiliated driver to win a race. Despite this accomplishment, Ferrari decided to replace him for the 2025 season. In response, Sainz elevated his performance in an attempt to prove his worth. His bold overtakes on his teammate and other drivers during the Bahrain Grand Prix demonstrate his confidence and familiarity with the car. Sainz emphasized his preference for a car that allows him to unleash all his power without upsetting his balance. This is a testament to the engineering work done on the SF-24 in Maranello.

Ferrari’s performance last year was marked by their ability to secure pole positions, thanks to the efforts of Sainz and Leclerc. However, they faced challenges during races due to tire degradation issues. Sainz identified areas for improvement, suggesting that the team should focus on enhancing the car’s performance. Specifically, he highlighted the need to increase aerodynamic pressure without compromising speed, as Red Bull cars have proven to be formidable opponents in straight-line races.

Although Ferrari still has a long way to go to reach the dominant Red Bulls, there is potential for them to challenge for victories throughout the season. With ongoing updates and improvements, the team can establish themselves as contenders in selected races.
