It is already next Saturday, January 27th, that the Caramulo Museum will carry out certifications of vehicles of historical interest.
Vila Real and Lisbon are the two district capitals that will host this new certification session, and any owner of a classic vehicle can join this process, simply by making their online appointment.
It should be noted that according to Decree-Law 144/2017, all vehicles over 30 years old that are certified by the Caramulo Museum as Vehicles of Historical Interest are exempt from the Mandatory Periodic Inspection (IPO).
In addition, all vehicles manufactured after 1981 up to 30 years old are also eligible for the exemption from the Vehicle Tax (IUC).
