The Caramulo Museum continues to carry out certifications of vehicles of historical interest, and in this sense announced that on the next May 4th it will be in Guarda and Covilhã, where any owner of a classic vehicle can request the certification of the vehicle in an initiative that requires online booking.
It should be noted that according to Decree-Law 144/2017, all vehicles over 30 years old that are certified by the Caramulo Museum (Member of FIVA) as Vehicles of Historical Interest are exempt from the Mandatory Periodic Inspection (IPO). All vehicles manufactured after 1981 up to 30 years of age are also eligible for road tax exemption.
