The Caramulo Museum announced that the certification of historic vehicles will continue on June 1st in Algarve, Braga, Rio Maior, and Caldas da Rainha.
The new initiative allows any owner of a classic vehicle to request certification online through a online booking.
It is worth noting that according to Decree-Law 144/2017, all vehicles over 30 years old that are certified by the Caramulo Museum (FIVA Member) as Historic Interest Vehicles are exempt from the Mandatory Periodic Inspection (IPO). Vehicles manufactured after 1981 up to 30 years old are also eligible for road tax exemption.
