The Caramulo Museum has announced the calendar of dates and locations for the certification of vehicles of historical interest.
On August 3rd, the technicians from the Caramulo Museum will be in Funchal and Porto, followed by the cities of Braga, Évora, Funchal, and Lisbon on August 10th.
On August 17th, Aveiro, Castelo Branco, and Coimbra will receive the certification of classics from the Caramulo Museum, while on August 24th, there is a scheduled certification for the cities of Chaves and Lisbon.
It is known that any owner of a classic vehicle can join this process by making their online appointment.
It should be noted that according to Decree-Law 144/2017, all vehicles over 30 years old that are certified by the Caramulo Museum as Vehicles of Historical Interest are exempt from the Mandatory Periodic Inspection (IPO).
In addition, all vehicles manufactured after 1981 and up to 30 years old are also eligible for the exemption from Vehicle Tax (IUC).
