The Caramulo Museum has announced that it will be in Aveiro, Évora, and Funchal to carry out certifications of historic vehicles on February 10th. This will be followed by Algarve, Bragança, Castelo Branco, Lisbon, and Porto on February 17th. Any owner of a classic vehicle can join this process by making their online appointment.
On November 24th, Braga, Caves, and Coimbra will also receive the certification of classics from the Caramulo Museum.
It should be noted that according to Decree-Law 144/2017, all vehicles over 30 years old that are certified by the Caramulo Museum as Historic Vehicles are exempt from the Mandatory Periodic Inspection (IPO).
In addition, all vehicles manufactured after 1981 and up to 30 years old are also eligible for the exemption from Vehicle Tax (IUC).
