Ian Callum, former designer for Jaguar, has now revealed the interior of the new Callum Skye, a 100% electric off-road model, one of the lightest electric vehicles on the market, weighing only 1150 kg.
Perhaps that’s why the Callum Skye features a minimalist interior, with a column-shaped center console, leather strips in place of traditional door handles, and a small centrally mounted infotainment screen, complemented by an instrument panel with analog gauges.
The rest of the interior is finished in white leather with ‘Vitamin C’ orange details, supplied by the Scottish company “Bridge of Weir.” With a capacity for four people, the Callum Skye is equipped with shell-type front seats and a simple bench seat in the back.
Callum has announced that it will present another interior next year, and that the all-terrain model will be launched in the second half of 2026, with the company planning to produce between 50 and 250 units annually.
Remember that the Callum Skye made its public debut in May of this year, and it is the first vehicle from the company to be designed and developed in-house from scratch. It represents an unusual fusion of elements, combining the elegance of a sports model with the robustness of an off-road vehicle and the innovation of a futuristic design.
Equipped with two electric motors, one on each axle, the Callum Skye boasts a combined power of 247 hp. The electric motors are powered by a 42 kWh battery, which allows for a claimed range of 273 km. Additionally, this radical off-roader, measuring 4.04 meters in length and 1.90 meters in width, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than four seconds.
