Cadillac’s F1 debut: discover the star engineers empowering Perez and Bottas on track!

Cadillac Racing Unveils Key Engineering Team for Formula 1 Debut: The Countdown to 2026 Begins!

As the motorsport world gears up for a seismic shift in the racing landscape, Cadillac Racing is making headlines with its groundbreaking entry into Formula 1 for the 2026 season. The excitement is palpable as this iconic American brand prepares to make a splash on the grid, and they are pulling no punches by enlisting two of the most seasoned veterans in the sport: Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas. Together, these titans bring an astonishing total of 527 Grand Prix races under their belts, promising a wealth of experience and competitive spirit that fans can’t wait to see in action.

But the intrigue doesn’t stop there! In an exclusive revelation, PlanetF1 has unveiled the pivotal figures who will serve as the critical link between the drivers and the team, ensuring that every strategy, every pit stop, and every moment on the track is executed flawlessly. While Cadillac has yet to make an official announcement regarding these key engineering roles, the names have been confirmed: Carlo Pasetti and John Howard are set to step into the spotlight.

Carlo Pasetti, formerly a Performance Engineer at Aston Martin, will be taking the reins to communicate directly with Sergio Perez, providing him with the vital information needed to navigate the high-stakes world of F1 racing. His expertise and insight will be crucial as Perez looks to leverage his extensive experience on the track.

On the other side of the pit wall, John Howard, a seasoned engineer with over 15 years of experience, will be joining Valtteri Bottas. Known for his previous work with Pierre Gasly, Howard has reportedly been working with the Cadillac team since August, meticulously preparing for this monumental challenge. His technical acumen and familiarity with race strategies will be invaluable as Bottas aims to deliver stellar performances from the very first race.

With the highly anticipated debut race set for March 8, 2026, in Australia, Cadillac Racing is rapidly piecing together a formidable team that could shake the foundations of Formula 1. All eyes will be on this new contender as it seeks to carve out its legacy in a sport rich with tradition and fierce competition.

As we inch closer to the start of a new era, the excitement surrounding Cadillac’s entry into F1 is building to a fever pitch. Will they rise to the occasion and leave an indelible mark on the sport? Fans and analysts alike are on the edge of their seats, awaiting what promises to be an unforgettable season.
