Cadillac unveils stunning monochrome livery for F1 pre-season tests: a bold new era begins!

Cadillac Unveils Stunning Monochrome Livery for F1 Pre-Season Tests!

In a dramatic entry into the high-octane world of Formula 1, Cadillac has announced the reveal of its striking temporary livery, set to make its debut during the pre-season tests in Barcelona. As the newest addition to the F1 grid, Cadillac is gearing up for an electrifying launch in 2026, marking its official entry as the 11th team in this prestigious racing series.

The anticipation is palpable as Cadillac prepares for its first on-track appearance, with racing stars Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez at the helm. The innovative American car manufacturer recently showcased its eye-catching black and silver livery, crafted to obscure the intricate aerodynamic features of their race car—a classic move in the world of F1 preseason preparations.

Unveiling took place at the General Motors headquarters in Detroit, where the new design prominently features the iconic Cadillac emblem alongside the names of team members from both the UK and the US, boldly displayed on the car’s nose. Under the leadership of Graeme Lowdon, this ambitious team is operating out of cutting-edge facilities located in Silverstone and across the United States.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Fans can mark their calendars for February 8, when Cadillac will unveil its final racing livery during a global broadcast of the Super Bowl. This groundbreaking reveal promises to capture the attention of motorsport enthusiasts worldwide, just ahead of the official pre-season testing in Bahrain.

“Our new testing livery celebrates Detroit’s rich design heritage and showcases the strength of the Cadillac global team in Formula 1, all while keeping our design secrets under wraps,” exclaimed Mark Reuss, CEO of General Motors. He continued, “The Barcelona tests are just the beginning—we can’t wait to share our official racing livery with fans around the globe next month.”

Adding to the thrill, Dan Towriss, CEO of Cadillac F1, stated, “Revealing our racing livery during a global championship event defies convention and positions Cadillac F1 before a worldwide audience. Together with this special testing livery, crafted by GM’s design studios, we honor our automotive legacy while eagerly looking forward to the thrilling 2026 season.”

As the countdown to the grid intensifies, Cadillac is poised to make a significant impact in the realm of Formula 1. Stay tuned for an exhilarating season ahead as this legendary brand races into the future!
