Sergio Perez Fans Demand His Presence in Cadillac F1 Team Unveiling

The fervent chants of “Get Checo, Get Checo!” filled the air as Cadillac F1 unveiled their plans for the 2026 season in a dazzling event in Miami. Despite the enthusiastic calls from Sergio Perez’s supporters, the team remained tight-lipped about their driver lineup.

While Cadillac F1 showcased their striking Formula 1 livery and race suits at the event, the speculation surrounding their potential drivers continued to swirl. With rumors suggesting that former Red Bull driver Sergio Perez is a frontrunner for a seat with the team, excitement reached a fever pitch.

Cadillac advisor Mario Andretti hinted at Perez’s potential involvement, stating, “He is an option… Liam Lawson is making Checo look very, very good.” However, no official confirmation was provided by the team regarding their driver selection.

In addition to Perez, former Sauber drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu are reportedly under consideration, with Colton Herta emerging as a top choice for an American driver representation. Motorsport mogul Bernie Ecclestone even endorsed Mick Schumacher as a compelling candidate, emphasizing the allure of the Schumacher name in the American market.

As Perez’s loyal fans lined the streets, passionately advocating for their favorite driver, Cadillac F1 teased their distinctive blue and red team colors, paying homage to the American flag. While social media buzzed with sightings of Schumacher in Miami, the team remained silent on their final driver lineup.

Despite the anticipation surrounding Cadillac F1’s debut in Formula 1, team principal Graeme Lowdon disclosed that no drivers had been officially confirmed. Lowdon emphasized the intricate planning required for the team’s inaugural season, including the crucial decision of selecting the ideal drivers to pilot their cars.

With the spotlight firmly on Cadillac F1 and the intense speculation regarding their driver roster, the countdown to the 2026 Formula 1 season has already begun. As fans clamor for updates and drivers await their fate, the stage is set for a high-octane entry into the world of elite motorsport.
