William Byron roars to victory at Darlington Raceway, claiming the pole position for the upcoming Goodyear 400 race. The Hendrick Motorsports driver, at 27 years old, showcased his skill by clocking in a blistering lap time of 28.774 seconds at 170.904 mph, securing Chevrolet’s fourth NASCAR Cup Series pole of the season.

Byron’s dominance on the track was evident as he not only clinched his second pole at Darlington Raceway but also marked his 15th pole position overall in NASCAR’s top division. The young talent expressed his confidence in his team’s strategy, highlighting his comfort and strength at the challenging Darlington circuit.

Not far behind, Ryan Preece of RFK Racing will start alongside Byron on the front row, setting the stage for an electrifying race day. Denny Hamlin, last week’s victor, will begin in third place in his Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, positioning himself for another shot at glory. Chase Briscoe, also from Joe Gibbs Racing, will share the second row with Hamlin, promising a fierce battle among teammates.

Bubba Wallace, driving for 23XI Racing, put on an impressive performance to secure the fifth starting spot, adding to the anticipation surrounding the Goodyear 400. With the stage set and the top contenders ready to unleash their full potential, fans can expect nothing short of high-octane action and adrenaline-pumping excitement on race day.

As the countdown to the Goodyear 400 begins, all eyes will be on William Byron as he aims to convert his pole position into a triumphant victory, solidifying his status as a force to be reckoned with in the NASCAR Cup Series. Stay tuned for what promises to be a heart-pounding and thrilling race at Darlington Raceway.
