BYD continues to surprise its fans and after revealing the super sports car Yangwang U9, in autonomous driving mode jumping over obstacles like potholes, filled with water, and nails placed on the road, it is now time to showcase the capabilities of the suspension of the new Yangwang U7, the luxury electric sedan with 1287 hp of power.
The new Yangwang U7 is equipped with an active electromagnetic suspension system, DiSus-Z, which uses LiDAR sensors and integrated cameras to make predictive adjustments and adapt to bumps.
Road monitoring is done in real-time, with about half a second of anticipation to adjust to bumps. According to the company, up to 1000 adjustments are made per second.
To reveal the capabilities of this new DiSus-Z suspension system, the Chinese brand has shown several videos, where it tests the technology of its new sedan, the latest showing the Yangwang U7 climbing a staircase, with total stability and without any issues.
Remember that the Yangwang U7 in the 100% electric version is equipped with four electric motors, powered by a 135.5 kWh battery, which boasts a range of up to 720 km in the Chinese cycle, CLTC, and promises an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, and a top speed of 270 km/h.
