On Tuesday, September 10, BYD marked the opening of a new Caetano Tec dealership in Lisbon, which was attended by Stella Li, Executive Vice President of BYD Company Limited and CEO of BYD Americas, who is visiting Portugal.
With the inauguration of the new dealership in Lisbon, BYD now has a presence in a total of 21 locations across mainland territory and islands.
The Chinese automobile manufacturer, a global leader in new energy vehicles, arrived in Portugal in May 2023 and has already achieved a market share of 5.8% in the segment of 100% electric light vehicles, based on accumulated value since the beginning of the year.
Currently, BYD is present in 88 countries and regions and in over 400 cities, with production facilities established in China, Brazil, Thailand, and Uzbekistan, and under development in Hungary, Turkey, and Mexico, contributing to the sustainable transition of mobility.
