The latest round of tests from the Green NCAP, the leading independent European environmental impact testing program, evaluated the BYD Seal U, the 100% electric variant, which boasts a range of up to 500 km.
The third model from the Chinese manufacturer tested by Green NCAP, now available on the national market, achieved a total of 10 points, the maximum possible, in the clean air index, 8.9 in the energy efficiency index, and 9.1 in terms of greenhouse gas emissions.

In addition, the tested version, which has front-wheel drive, is equipped with a single 214 hp motor and an 86 kWh capacity battery, with a claimed range of up to 500 km, and revealed an energy consumption of 21 kWh/100 km during the road tests conducted by Green NCAP.
Overall, the BYD Seal U achieved an average score of 93% in the Green NCAP tests, thus receiving five stars for the conducted evaluations.
