There’s no denying the profound impact the Busch family has had on NASCAR. With three championships and 94 Cup Series victories to their credit, brothers Kurt and Kyle Busch have certainly earned their place among the sport’s elite. Yet even as Kyle continues his active racing career, the spotlight has already begun to shift towards the next generation of Busch racers.

Brexton Busch, at the tender age of 9, is already making a splash in the junior racing circuits. His victories at the 2022 Saturday Millbridge Beginner Box championship and the 2025 Golden Driller at the Tulsa Shootout bear testament to his growing prowess. However, another member of the Busch clan is not too far behind in showing an interest in the sport.

Samantha Busch, wife of Kyle, recently revealed the next potential Busch racer. While NASCAR might be dominated by male drivers, there’s no shortage of talented women who have left their mark on the sport. The Cope sisters, Amber and Angela, made history by becoming the first twins to compete in NASCAR events, carrying on their father Derrick Cope’s legacy, a premier Cup Series racer and the 1990 Daytona 500 winner. Now, Lennix Busch, the youngest of the Busch offspring, is showing signs of interest in racing.

In an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram, Samantha Busch confirmed that Lennix, like her brother Brexton, is showing a keen interest in racing. Her Instagram feed is filled with posts of Lennix driving her toy car around the neighborhood, with her father Kyle and brother Brexton guiding her. Sporting a pink racing suit with leopard prints, she’s ready to race, and has already taken her first laps around the Millbridge Speedway.

Samantha’s unwavering support for both her children’s diverse interests is truly commendable. Juggling her role as a mother alongside her own career as a lifestyle blogger, she remains a supportive figure as the Busch family continues to nurture the next generation of racers.

2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for the Busch family. Kurt Busch is set to return to racing after a concussion led to a premature end to his full-time NASCAR career in 2022. He will be participating in the Race of Champions alongside Travis Pastrana for Team USA in Sydney, Australia, marking a significant comeback.

In addition to Kurt’s return, the family’s youngest racer, Brexton, is already turning heads in the junior circuits. Kyle Busch hinted at a potential “Battle of the Buschs” on social media, sparking excitement among fans. The prospect of a family showdown, featuring Kurt, Kyle, and Brexton, promises to be a thrilling spectacle.

Lennix’s early steps into the world of racing add to the anticipation surrounding the Busch family’s future in NASCAR. As the family continues to foster a love for racing and a competitive spirit, they are poised to inspire future generations of drivers. As 2025 unfolds, all eyes will undoubtedly be on the Busch family as they continue to shape their enduring legacy in motorsports.
