Bugatti continues to work on the Bolide hypercar, a model that will have a limited production of 40 units, all already sold, and this time it revealed the interior of what promises to be one of the most extreme cars ever.
Based on the platform used in the Chiron, the Bolide’s interior is inspired by competition and therefore features abundant carbon fiber, contrasting with the blue. However, the highlight of the cabin is a steering wheel similar to the one used in Formula 1, the “X-Theme”, which has eight buttons and two rotary controls for quick and easy access to the hypercar’s settings.
Behind the steering wheel is the instrument panel, which offers two distinct display modes. One is intended for more technical information, chosen with the help of Bugatti’s test drivers, while the second includes more traditional functions such as driving modes.
The original center console features a block of 10 buttons for accessing the main functions, while below are two generously sized buttons, one for signaling emergency stop and another, according to Bugatti, for activating the Bolide’s fire extinguisher.
Note also the four circular aluminum tubes, which are placed on either side of the central console, and are inspired by the exhaust system of the Bugatti hypercar, which in this case serve as air vents for the climate control system.
Also noteworthy are the sport seats of the Bolide, which can be leather or Alcantara and are fixed, meaning they do not have adjustable positions. In this sense, the driver can only adjust the steering column and pedals, as this model is intended for the track.Remember that the Bolide is equipped with an 8.0-liter W16 engine capable of delivering an impressive 1,600 hp to move the 1,450 kg of this model, which, as you know, has a price of €4 million.
