Bubba Wallace se sente mentalmente esgotado após corridas consecutivas em superspeedways.

Bubba Wallace showcased his skills in the last two Cup races at Superspeedways.

When NASCAR revealed the schedule for the 2024 season, fans expressed concerns about the consecutive race weekends of the Daytona 500 and Atlanta at Superspeedways. However, the decision proved to be a success as both races provided thrilling finishes and significantly fewer accidents compared to previous years.

Among all drivers, Bubba Wallace from 23XI Racing has been the most consistent in terms of final placements in the last two races. He is the only driver to secure top-ten finishes in both races, with both being top-five placements. If NASCAR were following the championship format without playoffs, Wallace would be leading the championship standings. This comes as no surprise, as Wallace has always been a strong contender in Superspeedway races.

However, the past two weeks have been mentally draining for Wallace. He took to social media to express his thoughts on the demanding nature of consecutive races, especially in terms of the required focus from the drivers. He also acknowledged the crucial role played by his spotter, Freddie Kraft, in the last two races.

It may sound like a joke, but the psychological aspect of Superspeedway races is immense. It’s not just another race; it requires receiving and processing information from Freddie Kraft lap after lap, turn after turn, to ensure you’re in the right position. It’s intense…

Despite suffering damage to his No. 23 Camry early in the race, Wallace managed to recover and return to the front of the pack. He believes that if the incident hadn’t occurred, he could have been in contention for the race win.

Now, it’s time for him to fully focus and make sure everything falls into place. Starting with consecutive top-five finishes is a great start, but there are still 24 more races to go. He asks fans to enjoy the success on his behalf.

Although Wallace wasn’t in the race win contention, he played a significant role in the thrilling three-car battle among other drivers. He helped propel Kyle Busch forward, and if they had executed the right maneuvers, they could have distanced themselves from the rest of the pack.
