23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace couldn’t contain his excitement as his teammate Tyler Reddick clinched a spot in the championship-4 by winning the Homestead playoff race. The victory capped an impressive season for Reddick, who exceeded expectations in his second year with the team owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin. Already a two-race winner at Talladega and Michigan, Reddick’s consistency earned him the regular-season championship, and now he’s just one race away from contending for the Cup Series title.
Reddick’s Homestead win was a thrilling last-lap finish, where he overtook the competition in the final corner to secure his place in the final four. The 23XI Racing garage erupted with celebration, with Bubba Wallace leading the cheers. Wallace posted a video on X (formerly Twitter), showing him running toward Reddick with arms raised in celebration, sharing a warm embrace with his teammate. Reddick’s young son, Becks, also joined the celebration, receiving a congratulatory hug from “Uncle Wallace.”
Wallace, who recently welcomed his first child with wife Amanda, has felt the support of team boss Michael Jordan, who frequently checks in on the new parents. In a recent Fox Sports interview, Wallace shared Jordan’s attentiveness: “He just keeps asking if I’m getting enough sleep, and surprisingly enough, we are! Becks sleeps pretty well most nights.”
With just two races left before Wallace takes on full-time dad duty during the off-season, he’s in for a challenging yet exciting new chapter. The 23XI Racing family, with Wallace and Reddick at its core, is gearing up for a strong finish to the season, and Wallace is eager to see his teammate push for the title as he cheers him on every step of the way.
