Bubba Pollard Joins ASA STARS National Tour Platinum Program: A Game-Changer for Super Late Model Racing

Bubba Pollard (26) looks over his car at the ASA STARS National Tour Capital 200 on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Madison International Speedway in the Town of Rutland, Wisconsin.

Motorsports fans, buckle up—Bubba Pollard, one of the most decorated Super Late Model racers in the country, is set to electrify the 2025 ASA STARS National Tour. The Georgia native has officially committed to all 12 races of the groundbreaking Platinum Program presented by Rackley Roofing, a loyalty initiative designed to elevate the series and attract top-tier talent.

This announcement marks a pivotal moment for the sport, with Pollard poised to go head-to-head with the best Super Late Model competitors in the nation. As one of the most consistent and successful drivers in the series, his participation is expected to generate unprecedented excitement and boost the profile of the ASA STARS National Tour.

Pollard’s Legacy: A Star Among Stars

At 37, Pollard’s resume speaks volumes. Known for his dominance in Super Late Model racing, he has conquered iconic events like the Oxford 250, Slinger Nationals, Joe Shear Classic, Winter Showdown, and SpeedFest. In the past two years alone, Pollard secured two wins, seven top-10 finishes, and a fourth-place finish in the 2023 series standings.

Pollard’s 2025 campaign kicks off at the Protect Your Melon – Buckle Up SpeedFest at Cordele Motor Speedway on January 17-18, marking his fourth consecutive appearance at the event. With his proven track record, Pollard is expected to be a frontrunner throughout the season, further cementing his legacy in Super Late Model racing.

Sharing his enthusiasm for the Platinum Program, Pollard said,
“The ASA STARS have heard the teams and drivers and developed a great program that will allow me to compete against some of the best in the country. I’m excited to be part of the ASA Stars National Platinum Program.”

The Platinum Program: A Revolution in Racing

Replacing the winner’s circle program, the Platinum Program presented by Rackley Roofing offers significant financial incentives to encourage teams to run the full season. The program is valued at $655,000—an astounding 925% increase over the previous initiative—and features a $100,000 championship purse on top of $1 million in race purses.

Track Enterprises CEO Bob Sargent emphasized the importance of this initiative, saying,
“Everyone has been working hard for two years to get to this point. We are all in this together—our teams, partners, and my staff. Our goal is to continue to grow our national touring platform along with the ASA brand, and this is a huge step.”

Teams like Rette Jones Racing and Donnie Wilson Motorsports have already joined the program, with standout drivers such as Gavan Boschele, Cole Butcher, Austin Nason, Derek Thorn, and others rounding out a star-studded field.

What Pollard Brings to the Table

Pollard’s experience, consistency, and ability to thrive under pressure make him a natural fit for this high-stakes program. As a seasoned racer who has built a reputation for excelling on diverse tracks, Pollard is perfectly positioned to take on the intense competition the Platinum Program promises.

The loyalty program’s incentives align with Pollard’s competitive spirit and his commitment to elevating the sport. With his participation, fans can expect thrilling battles, strategic racing, and a renewed focus on Super Late Model competition.

What’s at Stake for the ASA STARS National Tour?

The 2025 ASA STARS National Tour isn’t just about individual glory—it’s about redefining the landscape of Super Late Model racing. By attracting marquee names like Pollard and offering unprecedented financial rewards, the series is setting a new standard for national touring competitions.

Pollard’s presence in the field raises the stakes for every competitor, creating a captivating narrative that fans will eagerly follow from the opening race at New Smyrna Speedway on February 11th through the season finale.

A New Era for Super Late Model Racing?

The Platinum Program is more than a financial incentive—it’s a statement of intent. By fostering loyalty, increasing payouts, and attracting top talent like Bubba Pollard, the ASA STARS National Tour is poised to become the premier platform for Super Late Model racing in the United States.

With Pollard leading the charge, the 2025 season promises to be one of the most thrilling yet. Whether he dominates the series or faces stiff challenges from emerging stars, one thing is certain: Super Late Model racing fans are in for an unforgettable ride.
