Rising star Bryce Aron is set to take his Indy NXT career to new heights as he joins HMD Motorsports for his sophomore campaign in 2025. After a promising rookie season with Andretti Global, where the 21-year-old Illinois native secured two podium finishes, Aron is looking to become a championship contender with one of the series’ most dominant teams.
“I’m extremely excited to be joining HMD Motorsports for the 2025 Indy NXT season,” Aron said. “The goal is nothing short of winning the championship, and I believe together with HMD, this is possible. I’m looking forward to getting started with the team at IMS later this week.”
HMD Motorsports, which claimed the Indy NXT championship titles in both 2022 and 2023, is known for nurturing top-tier talent, and the addition of Aron further strengthens their already formidable lineup. Team president Mike Maurini expressed confidence in Aron’s potential: “Bryce steadily improved throughout the 2024 season, and we are very confident in his ability to be at the pointy end of the field week in and week out. Experience is key in the Indy NXT program, and Bryce is entering his sophomore season with experience at every venue that we will compete at in the 2025 season.”
As Aron prepares to make his mark with HMD Motorsports, his focus is firmly on clinching the 2025 championship and building on the momentum he gained during his rookie year. His journey continues this week at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the Chris Griffis Test, where he’ll begin his preparations for the upcoming season.
