Alpine is facing the new Formula 1 season with a bold development in their car, leaving no stone unturned with new solutions at various levels. But the structure has also changed, according to team principal and vice-president for motorsport, Bruno Famin.
At the launch event, the Frenchman revealed: ‘We decided to create two new positions – one in Viry-Châttilon and one in Enstone – as operations directors, in order to manage the day-to-day operations of the different companies. And this way, I will have more time to dedicate to my role as team principal and vice-president for motorsport’.
Famin also mentioned who will occupy the newly created positions: ‘We will have John Woods in Enstone, he will join within a month, and in Viry we will have Audrey Vastroux. She is already the operations director of the Viry-Châtillon factory. And I am confident that both will bring extensive experience to the team’.
