Dino Beganovic Roars into Ferrari: Rookie’s Dream of Seizing the Wheel at Bahrain GP

In a thrilling turn of events, the Bahrain Grand Prix is set to witness a wave of fresh talent hitting the track, with six F1 rookies gearing up for their practice debut. Among them is Swedish driver Dino Beganovic, who will be making his first appearance in an F1 practice session behind the wheel of Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari. This weekend marks a significant milestone for Beganovic as he steps into the high-pressure world of Formula 1, balancing his commitments in both F1 and Formula 2.

But Beganovic is not alone in this rookie spectacle. Ryo Hirakawa is making his second consecutive FP1 appearance, this time with Haas following an unexpected departure from Alpine. Meanwhile, other rising stars like Frederik Vesti, Luke Browning, Felipe Drugovich, and Ayumu Iwasa are all set to make their mark on the track during the practice session.

The Bahrain Grand Prix serves as the perfect stage for these rookies to shine, with teams looking to fulfill the increased quota of four rookie practice outings in 2025. The track conditions in Bahrain, coupled with the familiarity gained from pre-season testing, provide an ideal setting for the newcomers to acclimatize to the demands of F1.

As teams strategically allocate their rookie drivers for FP1, Mercedes stands closest to meeting the quota, with drivers like Kimi Antonelli and Frederik Vesti already making significant contributions. With each team carefully planning their rookie outings, the Bahrain Grand Prix promises an exciting blend of experience and fresh talent on the track.

With the spotlight firmly on these rising stars, all eyes will be on the Bahrain Grand Prix as the next generation of F1 drivers take center stage in a high-octane display of skill and determination.
