The high-octane world of Formula 1 racing is set to hit the silver screen with a new, adrenaline-pumping film titled ‘F1’. The powerhouse of Hollywood, Brad Pitt, is taking the lead in this much-awaited sports action drama, directed by the visionary Joseph Kosinski.

Set for a grand release in theatres worldwide come June 2025, ‘F1′ promises to deliver the electrifying excitement of the Grand Prix to cinema-goers. Brad Pitt is geared up to portray a retired F1 driver from the glorious 1990s era. His character makes a thrilling comeback to the racetrack with the fictional Apex Grand Prix team (APXGP), taking on the role of mentor to the promising novice, Joshua Pearce, brought to life by the talented Damson Idris.

The film’s enticing trailer has hit the airwaves, teasing viewers with a tantalising glimpse into the movie’s plot. Narrated by Javier Bardem’s character, Ruben, the trailer rolls out a sequence of dramatic flashbacks, showcasing Pitt’s character Hayes’ past F1 and NASCAR racing glory. Adding to the thrilling atmosphere is the stirring soundtrack featuring a revamped version of Fleetwood Mac’s iconic track ‘The Chain’. This song will no doubt resonate with F1 fanatics, as it formerly set the tone for the BBC and Channel 4’s television coverage of Formula One.

Interestingly, the film’s release is timed impeccably to coincide with the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix, creating a perfect storm of F1 frenzy. The trailer spotlights the challenging relationship between Hayes and Pearce as they cross paths for the first time in their careers. The duo seemingly struggle to find common ground and their friction-filled encounters off and on the track are set to create some riveting cinematic moments.

This cinematic venture is a collaboration between Apple Studios and Lewis Hamilton’s Dawn Apollo Films, and it carries the signature of the renowned producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Known for his work on the hit movie Top Gun: Maverick, Bruckheimer has joined forces with director Kosinski once again, promising an unforgettable experience for movie and racing fans alike.

In a nutshell, ‘F1’ is gearing up to take audiences on a thrilling ride, marrying the world of cinema with the exhilarating sport of Formula 1 racing. As we anticipate the film’s grand release, the pulse-pounding trailer offers a taste of the action and drama that awaits.
