Brad Keselowski Sets Ambitious Goals for RFK Racing: “We Want to Win Six Races in 2025!”

Former NASCAR Cup champion Brad Keselowski has drawn a bold blueprint for RFK Racing’s future, aiming to turn a challenging 2024 season into a championship-contending 2025. Despite scoring just two victories and seeing only Keselowski himself make the playoffs in 2024, RFK is doubling down on its ambitions with the addition of a third entry for the 2025 NASCAR Cup season.

Big Plans, Big Expectations

Keselowski, who co-owns RFK Racing, envisions a major leap forward. He’s set the bar high for his team, stating that the goal for 2025 is to match the six wins RFK secured across the last three seasons—in just one year.

“We want to win races… We’ve won six races over the last three seasons—six playoff or point-counting races. We want to be able to do that in one season. That’d be a good mark for us,” Keselowski shared.

The objective isn’t just to rack up wins; Keselowski also wants all three RFK cars to qualify for the playoffs, a feat that would cement the team as a serious championship contender.

“We want to put all of our cars in the playoffs. There are some measurables, but ultimately, we just want to be in the conversation,” he explained. “This is the next step to being more consistent. We just continue to improve as an organization.”

Strength in Numbers: A Third Car for RFK

RFK Racing’s bold push into 2025 comes with the addition of a third car, a move Keselowski says is crucial to success both on and off the track. The decision, fueled by both financial and competitive considerations, reflects RFK’s commitment to maximizing performance.

“There’s strength in numbers, just the way the sport’s laid out and how you can amortize the overhead and capture the most data,” Keselowski noted. “It’s important for us to be not just financially viable but competitively viable, to have three teams and maximize the opportunities on a given weekend.”

The move is also a statement of intent: RFK Racing is serious about expanding its presence and leveraging its resources to reclaim a spot among NASCAR’s elite.

Resurgence Under Keselowski’s Leadership

Since Keselowski joined RFK Racing as a co-owner, the team has undergone a significant transformation in the Next-Gen era, with marked improvements in competitiveness and consistency. However, 2024 proved to be a step back compared to 2023’s breakthrough performances. The challenge now is to harness the lessons learned and elevate the team to new heights in 2025.

The Road Ahead

The addition of a third car, combined with Keselowski’s leadership and RFK’s partnership with Ford, positions the team as a dark horse for 2025. While lofty goals of six wins and three playoff cars won’t be easy, RFK’s determination and strategic expansion make them a team to watch closely next season.

With Daytona just around the corner, RFK Racing’s focus is clear: Win, contend, and prove that the team is a force to be reckoned with in the NASCAR Cup Series. Whether they hit Keselowski’s ambitious targets remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: RFK Racing is playing to win.
