BMW: venda de modelos eletrificados em Portugal com forte crescimento em 2023

The BMW Group announced that the three brands – BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad – sold a total of 18,469 units in Portugal in 2023.

BMW, in particular, grew by 42%, a value higher than the national average of 26.9%, with a focus on electrified vehicles, which accounted for over 60% of the total sales of the German brand in the national market.

Thus, BMW sold a total of 8,435 electrified vehicles in 2023, while fully electric models saw a growth of 25% compared to 2022 data.

The BMW 1 Series was once again the best-selling model of the brand in the national market, with 2,093 units, but the highlight goes to the 1,934 deliveries of the new BMW i4. Also noteworthy is the sportier segment, with 2,023 being a new record year for BMW M, with 201 vehicles sold, representing a growth of over 150%.

In the same line, MINI also saw the weight of electrified vehicles grow, already representing 47% of total sales, with a focus on fully electric vehicle sales, which reached 20% of the models sold.

Thus, MINI sold a total of 2,058 units, which corresponds to a 9% increase compared to 2022. With 965 units delivered, the brand set a record for the sale of electrified vehicles this year. The best-selling model was indeed the MINI Countryman PHEV, with a total of 564 units.
