Woke Mob Targets Chicago Blackhawks’ Logo

In the world of woke culture, no team is safe from the crosshairs of the politically correct. The latest target? The Chicago Blackhawks and their beloved logo. But it seems that the woke mob has missed the mark this time, as a recent poll reveals that both fans and players adore the team’s iconic sweaters.

According to a poll conducted by The Athletic, players were asked a series of questions, including their opinions on overrated and underrated players, as well as their favorite road city to play in. Unsurprisingly, Las Vegas took the top spot for favorite road city. But the most interesting question was about their favorite jersey, excluding their own team.

In a surprising turn of events, the Original 6 teams dominated the top spots, with the Seattle Kraken being the first non-Original 6 team to make the list. However, it was the Chicago Blackhawks who claimed the coveted number one spot, with a nearly 6% lead over the Detroit Red Wings in second place.

It’s hard to argue with the fact that the Blackhawks have some of the best jerseys in the NHL. In fact, many hockey fans would agree that they are the cream of the crop. But what’s even more interesting is that despite the controversy surrounding their logo, the Blackhawks remain incredibly popular, especially among players.

So why is this controversial? Well, it all comes down to the use of indigenous imagery. Even if it is meant to honor a historical figure or tribe, woke critics like to label it as offensive. They will stop at nothing to ruin your life, even if you are just a young hockey fan.

One critic, Kevin Blackistone of The Washington Post, took issue with the team’s donations to native tribes. While most people would see this as a commendable gesture, Blackistone saw it as an attempt to buy the cooperation of these groups. Of course, this was just his interpretation, but it goes to show how far some people will go to find fault.

Thankfully, the Blackhawks have stood their ground while other teams, like the Cleveland Indians and Washington Redskins, have caved to the woke mob. It’s a testament to the fact that these complaints often represent the views of the vocal minority.

In the end, it’s clear that the Chicago Blackhawks’ jerseys are adored by fans and players alike. Despite the controversy surrounding their logo, the team remains steadfast in their support. And as long as the majority continues to appreciate their iconic sweaters, the woke mob’s complaints will likely fall on deaf ears.
