Bentley revealed this Thursday the first images of the new fourth-generation Continental GT that will be presented next June and will be the first model to make use of the new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain.
The new Continental GT will feature a 4.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 782 hp and 1000 Nm of maximum torque, combined with an electric motor that is expected to be integrated into the gearbox and transmit power to all four wheels.
The Crewe-based brand stated that the new Ultra Performance Hybrid engine is the most dynamic, responsive, and efficient in Bentley’s history and is in line with a new generation of models.
In addition to the high power of the plug-in hybrid technology, the new Continental GT will have an 80 km electric-only range, contributing to a CO2 emissions value of less than 50g/km.
Bentley did not reveal many technical details of the new model, but mentioned that to preserve its dynamic character, the new generation of the Continental GT will receive new dual-valve dampers, enhanced active stabilizer bars, electronic limited-slip differential, and four-wheel steering.
Recorde-se que a Bentley anunciou recentemente o adeus ao icónico motor W12 com a edição especial do exclusivo Batur Convertible.
