Novo Bentley Continental GT Speed é um híbrido com 782 cv

The new fourth-generation Continental GT Speed will make its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, which started this Thursday. After achieving an unofficial “Underwater Speed Record” – believed to be the fastest ever for a car in a tunnel – the supercar capable of reaching 335 km/h will be showcased at the event in both coupe and convertible versions and will race on the famous Goodwood Hillclimb until next Sunday.

Equipped with the new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain from Bentley, the new generation Continental GT Speed boasts 782 hp and 1000 Nm of maximum torque, running on second-generation renewable biofuel SUSTAIN from Coryton and a hybrid battery charged with electricity from Bentley’s solar panel system.

In addition to the two models that will participate in the Goodwood Hill Climb, Bentley will showcase a third model in Tourmaline Green paint, displayed behind a three-ton aquarium with 1400 liters of water and various fish, to celebrate the new underwater record achieved by the new Continental GT Speed. The car reached its maximum speed in the 14.5 km Ryfylke tunnel in Norway – the world’s longest road tunnel and deepest underwater tunnel, with its lowest point 292 meters below sea level.
