The 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season is gearing up for a star-studded start as Ben Keating and Jonny Edgar have been announced as drivers for the #33 Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R with TF Sport. This powerhouse duo will join forces with Daniel Juncadella to pilot Corvette Racing’s latest machine, bringing a blend of experience and fresh talent to the LMGT3 category.
Keating Returns to Corvette Racing After Championship Glory
Keating, a seasoned endurance racing veteran, returns to WEC full-time after clinching the 2023 GTE Am championship and a spectacular Le Mans 24 Hours victory with Corvette Racing. Following a one-off appearance at the 2024 Lone Star Le Mans, Keating is back in Corvette machinery, this time with the new Z06 LMGT3.R.
The Texan is no stranger to TF Sport, having raced with the team in 2021 and 2022, securing his first Le Mans class win during the latter campaign. Known for his versatility across various racing platforms, Keating expressed his excitement about reuniting with TF Sport and the WEC paddock.
“I am so excited to be back in the FIA World Endurance Championship family,” Keating said. “I have missed all the people and places I have come to love. I’m thrilled to be racing with TF Sport again and in the Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R, which is the same car I sell at Keating Chevrolet. It feels like a perfect fit.”
Edgar Makes WEC Debut After ELMS Triumph
Rising star Jonny Edgar is set to make his WEC debut after an extraordinary 2024 season in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS). The 20-year-old, alongside co-drivers Robert Kubica and Louis Deletraz, clinched the ELMS LMP2 championship with TF Sport, building a strong foundation for his leap to the global stage.
Edgar’s partnership with TF Sport continues as he transitions to GT3 racing for the first time. Speaking about the opportunity, Edgar shared his enthusiasm and optimism for the upcoming season.
“Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans is an amazing opportunity,” Edgar said. “I’m thrilled to continue with TF Sport after our success in ELMS. With teammates like Ben and Dani, who bring so much experience, I’m confident we can achieve great things.”
TF Sport’s Strong Line-Up and LMGT3 Prospects
In addition to the new trio in the #33 Corvette, TF Sport retains its #81 entry lineup of Charlie Eastwood, Rui Andrade, and Tom van Rumpuy. The team consistently delivered top performances during the 2024 season, including several Hyperpole appearances, and is poised to continue challenging for LMGT3 class dominance in 2025.
The Z06 LMGT3.R, introduced last year, will be entering its second campaign in the LMGT3 category. With a mix of experienced veterans and championship-winning rookies, TF Sport looks to make a strong statement in a field packed with competition.
