Oliver Bearman, the test driver for the Haas VF-24, expressed his comfort behind the wheel during the early practice session of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Imola. Bearman, who often switches racing shirts between Prema, Ferrari, and Haas, showed his adaptability by finishing 15th in the times, proving that he belongs in the Formula 1 arena. Although he did not fully maximize his performance during the qualifying simulation, Bearman felt at ease during the long race and was able to push the car effectively. He is quickly adjusting to his dual role as an F1 reserve and Formula 2 competitor, learning from past experiences and improving his performance. In Formula 2, Bearman had a challenging day with an accident during practice and a deleted lap in qualifying due to confusion with track limits. However, he was able to overcome these setbacks and ended the day on a positive note.
