The return of FC Barcelona to the new “Spotify Camp Nou” is getting closer. With the help of Cupra, a group of players from the men’s and women’s football teams had an exclusive glimpse inside the stadium without leaving the facilities of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
This experience was made possible through Cupra’s pioneering Exponential Experience, where the driver, using a virtual reality headset, controls the UrbanRebel Racing Concept in the physical world while seeing a digital circuit adapted to the Barça style.
This is how Marc-André ter Stegen, Alexia Putellas, Pedri, Ona Batlle, Raphinha, Claudia Pina, João Félix, Jana, Fermín López, Lucy Bronze, Vítor Roque, and Bruna, accompanied by Jordi Gené as co-pilot, once again heard the roar of the crowd at “Spotify Camp Nou” while testing their driving skills.
The task was not easy considering that the Barcelona stars took the wheel equipped with virtual reality glasses to showcase their skills in the Exponential Experience that merges the tangible with the virtual to maximize the excitement of driving.
This occasion allowed the club’s players to discover the future of Barça through a 100% Cupra experience, with visits to iconic buildings in the city, such as the Torre Glòries and the completed Sagrada Família, a futuristic Barcelona that welcomed the players as they quickly headed to the “Spotify Camp Nou” for their first (virtual) interaction with the new stadium, which is currently undergoing renovation.
In addition, during the event, the Barcelona stars also had the opportunity to get up close with the Cupra Tavascan, the Formentor, and the Leon PHEV in order to better understand the future of the brand.
