Pecco Bagnaia secured the first position on the grid for the MotoGP Dutch TT in a dominant performance. The factory Ducati rider set a new lap record with a time of 1m30.540s, edging out his Pramac rival Jorge Martin by just over 0.1 seconds. Bagnaia had already showcased his speed in the practice sessions on Friday, leading FP1 for the first time in his MotoGP career. He will start in first both in the sprint race on Saturday and the main race on Sunday. Maverick Vinales will accompany him on the front row, followed by Alex Marquez and Aleix Espargaro.

In Q2, Martin initially set a new lap record with a time of 1m30.877s, but Bagnaia quickly surpassed him with a lap time of 1m21.048s. Bagnaia then improved his time by 0.3 seconds to secure the pole position. Martin was unable to improve due to traffic issues. Fabio Di Giannantonio briefly held the third position but ended up being pushed to sixth. Marc Marquez, despite a late crash, will start in seventh, followed by Franco Morbidelli and Brad Binder.

Pedro Acosta led Q1 but crashed in the final moments, losing aerodynamics and needing a quick repair before Q2. He will start in 10th. Enea Bastianini and Raul Fernandez will start in 11th and 12th, respectively. Fabio Quartararo, who was eliminated from Q2 by Di Giannantonio, will start in 13th. Jack Miller and Marco Bezzecchi, who suffered two crashes on Saturday morning, will start in 14th and 15th, respectively. Alex Rins, Miguel Oliveira, and Lorenzo Savadori complete the top 18. Johann Zarco leads the Honda riders in 19th place, followed by Joan Mir, Luca Marini, Augusto Fernandez, and Takaaki Nakagami.
