The reigning MotoGP champion, Pecco Bagnaia, secured a dominant victory at the Italian Grand Prix in Mugello. Riding for the Ducati factory team, Bagnaia led a one-two finish with his teammate Jorge Martin, who unfortunately lost second place on the final corner. Despite starting from a lower grid position due to a penalty, Bagnaia quickly moved to the front and never looked back. Although Martin closed in on Bagnaia towards the end of the race, the champion responded with a strong performance to maintain his lead. Enea Bastianini and Marc Marquez completed the leading quartet, but were unable to challenge the Ducati duo. Pedro Acosta finished fifth as the top KTM rider, while Franco Morbidelli came in sixth for Pramac Ducati. Maverick Vinales, the only rider to opt for a medium rear tire, finished eighth. Alex Marquez secured seventh place, putting seven Ducatis in the top nine positions. Brad Binder salvaged a top-10 finish for KTM, while Yamaha and Honda struggled with disappointing results.
