Audi apresenta o Q6 e-tron com autonomia até 625 km

Audi has finally revealed the Q6 E-Tron, the brand’s first model based on the Premium Electric Platform (PPE) with 800V, the same one used by the electric Porsche Macan.

Audi’s third 100% electric SUV is equipped with a newly developed lithium-ion battery consisting of 12 modules, 180 prismatic cells, and a gross capacity of 100 kWh, allowing for a range of up to 625 km.

The battery allows for charging up to 270 kW in direct current, equivalent to a recharge from 10 to 80% in 21 minutes.

During the launch phase, Audi’s new electric SUV will be available in a base version, Q6 E-tron quattro, with 388 hp and 436 Nm of maximum torque, while the SQ6 E-Tron variant comes with 517 hp. These numbers allow the Q6 E-tron quattro to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 km/h, while the more powerful version, SQ6 E-tron, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 230 km/h.

Audi states that the new motors offer 62% more power density and 33% higher performance than the first-generation units of the Q8 E-tron, while the vehicle’s overall energy consumption is 30% lower.

The new Audi Q6 E-Tron presents itself with a length of 4.77 m, a width of 1.99 m, a height of 1.64 m, and a wheelbase of 2.89 m. Aesthetically, the new Audi electric SUV features a fully enclosed Singleframe grille, which stands out in a front section marked by an active digital light signature, along with a bumper that has generous air intakes.

At the rear, a luminous strip runs across the entire width, as well as new OLED taillights composed of six panels and 360 segments that also feature an active digital light signature that can send warnings to drivers about accidents and broken-down vehicles, through integrated alert symbols.

The interior of the Q6 E-tron is marked by the use of three screens, the 11.9” instrument panel, the 14.5” curved infotainment system screen, and a third screen placed on the front passenger side with 10.9”, which has technology to prevent the driver from seeing the images when the vehicle is in motion.

Audi revealed that the infotainment system is based on Android Automotive and includes an app store, which allows the use of third-party apps like YouTube and various gaming and shopping platforms, along with a digital assistant represented by an avatar.

Also noteworthy is the interaction light bar, as well as a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system with 22 speakers and a spacious cargo compartment, consisting of a trunk with 526 liters of capacity, which can reach 1529 liters with the rear seats folded down. In addition, the “frunk” under the hood has a capacity for an additional 64 liters.

Audi also revealed that the Q6 E-tron will be the first electric model built at the brand’s main factory in Ingolstadt, where it will be integrated into the existing production lines alongside combustion engine models.
