Audi will launch the first model of its new electric vehicle brand for China, AUDI, next month in April.
The new model, which is an evolution of the concept AUDI E presented in 2024, will be revealed at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 25, marking the first model in a range of electric vehicles aimed at the Chinese market, with the goal of attracting young customers interested in technology.

Although similar to the new Audi A5 launched in Europe, the first model of the new AUDI will be based on a new 800 V architecture resulting from the partnership between Audi and SAIC established in 2023, which created the sub-brand “AUDI” aimed at developing a range of electric models exclusively for the Chinese market.
The executives at AUDI have already revealed that the new model will feature a design with few changes compared to the concept presented last year, with the biggest novelty being the absence of the four rings, the symbol of the Ingolstadt brand, from the front section.

With production set to begin at the end of this year, the new AUDI model to be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show will be the first of three new models from the brand aimed at the Chinese market, with launches expected in 2026 and 2027.
