The passion for engines does not choose ages. Just ask Bindy Gralow, who at 102 years old continues to fulfill dreams at full speed!
This time, the woman was the protagonist of an action at the legendary Richmond Raceway, a circuit that is the stage for NASCAR, where she completed half a dozen laps aboard the competition’s safety car, driven by the service pilot, who apparently couldn’t be fast enough.
In an interview with WWBT News, the woman born in the roaring 20s confessed to being captivated by the emotions felt on the NASCAR oval. Even so, she wanted to go faster.
“Go as fast as you can because I love speed,” Gralow said to the pilot, who was not allowed to exceed 105 km/h. “I wanted to go faster,” said the occasional co-pilot.
The plan now is to return to Richmond Raceway in the spring to attend a NASCAR race, celebrating her 103rd birthday.
