The British aerodynamicist is said to have been approached by various teams to lead their design operations in 2025. Adrian Newey, a renowned Formula One engineer, is highly sought-after in the industry. Newey recently announced his departure from Red Bull Racing in 2025, causing a frenzy among other teams who are eager to secure his services.

Adrian Newey has been the mastermind behind the design and aerodynamics of the Milton-Keynes-based team since 2006. Throughout his career, Newey’s cars have achieved an impressive record of winning 13 drivers’ championships and 12 constructors’ championships across three different teams.

Numerous teams have been vying for the 65-year-old aerodynamicist’s attention, and Aston Martin has emerged as a surprising contender in recent times. The Silverstone-based team has reportedly become highly appealing to Newey as well.

Aston Martin released a statement regarding the speculation surrounding Newey’s potential move to the team. They emphasized the appeal of their project, highlighting Lawrence Stroll’s vision, a state-of-the-art new Technology Campus, and exciting partnerships with Aramco and Honda.

The upcoming months will be crucial for the teams competing to secure Newey’s services. The British engineer has stated that he will make a decision at the end of the current season.

Aston Martin’s team principal, Mike Krack, indirectly hinted at the possibility of signing Adrian Newey next year. Krack described his team as a growing prospect with an open-minded approach, taking into account the ongoing rumors.

Krack emphasized the importance of consolidation to improve their performance on the grid in the future. He outlined their commitment to enhancing their resources and developments through an open approach.

Currently, Aston Martin is placed fifth in the championship with a total of 73 points. The team has experienced a significant decline compared to their previous season’s performance. However, they are determined to make substantial changes and aim for a remarkable resurgence in the upcoming year.
