Aston Martin is the first manufacturer in the world to offer the CarPlay Ultra system, which expands the capabilities of Apple’s system, displaying real-time information on the infotainment screen and the instrument panel.
Making its debut in the Aston Martin DBX and the main lineup of Aston Martin sports cars, CarPlay Ultra will be standard in all new models in the US and Canada starting this Thursday, and will be available as an update in the coming weeks for existing main models equipped with Aston Martin’s state-of-the-art infotainment system.
With CarPlay Ultra, users can control certain vehicle functions, such as the radio and climate system, using the touchscreen, physical buttons, or Siri. It is also possible to add widgets for iPhone, seamlessly adapting to the 10.25″ infotainment screen or the instrument panel of the Aston Martin, allowing the user to quickly access all information.

“Aston Martin is very happy to have collaborated with Apple and to be the first to incorporate CarPlay Ultra. As a brand, our focus on delivering world-leading performance goes beyond the traditional attributes associated with powertrains, dynamic performance, and finish.”, said Adrian Hallmark, CEO of Aston Martin.
The integration of CarPlay Ultra is a clear example of our commitment to collaborating with the best companies in the world to provide our customers with unique experiences and features on board. Along with our advanced infotainment system, developed in-house, CarPlay Ultra will offer additional features and customization options that will place Aston Martin at the forefront of the infotainment sector.

Unlike traditional CarPlay, which is supported by older smartphones like the iPhone 5, CarPlay Ultra requires at least an iPhone 12 and iOS 18.5 to function.
